- Promotion of your activity on flyers distributed during Freshers' Fair
- An opportunity to recruit new students by showing them what you're about at the earliest opportunity in the year
- FREE space within/around the Union (Beit Quad) to run your activity
- FREE t-shirt for club volunteers (max 2 per club)
How do I get involved?
The webform closes at 9 AM on Friday 07 September
Step 1: Complete the webform below.
This will be sent to the Student Activities team who will find you a suitable space. Once the schedule for the day has been finalised, you will be contacted with your time slot(s) and more information about logistics on the day. We will also use this information to promote your event via our Welcome Hub.
Step 2: Attend a volunteer briefing
We expect each CSP to provide 1+ volunteer(s) to faciliate your activity. This might include meeting students at the meeting point in Beit Quad, and walking them to your activity. Ideally you'll want someone overseeing the activity, making sure it runs smoothly, and participants are having fun!
We will be providing a short, 30 minute briefing to Wanna Go Wednesday volunteers during the Freshers' Fair Briefing on Saturday 29 September. Just make sure that at least 1 volunteer from your CSP attends. You will be given a volunteer t-shirt to identify you on the day as well as some useful information and resources.
Step 3: Show up!
At the briefing, we will go over start times and meeting points so you're in the loop about how the day will run.
