Ki Aikido

Category: Martial Arts

Shinshin-tōitsu-aikidō (心身統一合気道 meaning "Aikido with mind and body unified"), frequently referred to as Ki-Aikido, is a style of Aikido developed by Master Koichi Tohei.
Shin Shin Toitsu Aikido (Aikido with mind and body coordinated) or Ki Aikido is a gentle yet dynamic martial art that is based on the principles of harmony and non-dissension.
Aikido literally means 'the way to union with the Ki of the Universe'.Through the study of Ki-Aikido, and it's exercises and meditations, we learn to coordinate mind and body, to work with ourselves and others positively, and to realise our full potential. Our training is for everyday life and not just applicable as a martial art or 'on the mat'.
People with no experience before are welcomed as well as beginners and advanced level.
