ICGAC is the home of Imperial's men's and women's Gaelic Football and Hurling teams, catering for all abilities. If you want to know more just get in touch!
Whether you've never played before or are an all Ireland champion we have something for you. We generally train twice a week with one skills based and one fitness based session and have a calendar packed full of socials. No experience is necessary and being Irish is most certainly not a prerequisite of joining.
The games are played on a large grass pitch with the object being to score as many points in the oppositions end by (nearly) any means necessary. Both sports are fast paced and exciting providing players with an ideal opportunity to keep fit in one of the friendliest and most social sports clubs Imperial has to offer. Each year we field teams at national university championships as well as playing in a league, and we have recently added the Oxford 7s tournament to our calendar.
The club has a great social side too, being regulars at the union for our post-match analysis, hard hitters at ACC bar nights, hosting infamous St. Patrick's day celebrations and Poetry nights. In the past we've toured both Ireland and Europe playing our sport and have plans to continue doing so over the next season.
