The Student Activities Centre is open from 10am to 6pm Monday to Friday, providing all of the services that you might need to successfully operate a club or society at Imperial College Union.
Networked PCs are available, equipped with Microsoft Office and other software. An industrial photocopier is also available - this machine is operated on a cashless payment system, with photocopy cards available for purchase from the Student Activities Centre Staff. Every ICU club and society receives £5 of free credit.
A free phone line and fax facilities are also provided for club use. Club and society post is delivered to pigeon holes in the centre.
The centre staff coordinate a variety of things to ensure clubs and societies run smoothly:
*Minibus bookings and Driver Introductions
*Coach bookings
*Key lists for club and society store rooms
*Selling of trips, events and retail items via the Union website
*Grant access to club pages on the Union website
*Coordinate sports fixtures
*Process document submissions from clubs and societies
*Maintain contact lists
*Deal with general enquires from club officers
The centre is situated in the East Wing Basement of the Union building in Beit Quadrangle. Please ask at the main Union Reception desk on the first floor of the Union if you are unsure how to get to the Centre.
