Yacht
The Yacht Club has an excellent reputation for offering quality sailing to its members. We consist of people whose skill range from those who have never sailed before to our racing team. Most sailing is done during weekends on the south coast of the UK. In addition week long cruises to locations such as the Channel Islands, the west coast of Scotland and the Scilly Isles are also run. No prior knowledge is required as all trips have a qualified Yachtmaster and mate aboard. In addition there are many opportunities to take discounted Practical and Theory Royal Yachting Association courses. The free tuition, club owned equipment and discounted rates makes this potentially expensive sport available to all students and staff within Imperial College.
