Golf is the infallible test. The man who can go into a patch of rough alone, with the knowledge that only God is watching him, and play his ball where it lies, is the man who will serve you faithfully and well.
Our club is one of the few remaining bastions of civilization in a fast-moving world, where opportunities to sample fresh air in green fields, followed by a refreshing glass of kummel with your best chums, are too few and too far between.
One of the great secrets in Imperial's sporting repertoire counts international heroes Sir Alexander Fleming and J.P.R. Williams MBE amongst its more famous alumni.
We offer membership to a limited number at Denham, one of North London's finest courses. For competitive golfers from all departments, we compete in the BUCS league as Imperial College Golf Club, whilst a great number of social matches and soirees exist for the medical students against doctors from around the country with prestigious prizes to be won.
Golf aside, we enjoy a fine social calendar with club dinners in the summer and before Christmas, as well as post match entertainment at some of London's finest nightspots...
So put on your plus fours, swing your mashie-niblick, and pay us a visit at freshers' fair. But remember: If you drink, don't drive. Don't even putt.
