EMSA
EMSA-ICSM is a new society and serves as part of a European network of 1.2 million medical students as a representing body towards different professional and international institutions.
We have been running some hugely popular and thoroughly successful projects such as: Teddy Bear Hospital - aims to help primary school children to lose their fears towards doctors and hospital environments in a friendly and playful way. So far we have held TBHs at Chelsea & Westminster, Charing Cross and St. Mary’s Hospital. Twinning Project - a socio-cultural project linking medical students together to understand each others culture, society and the health care system in the country.
So far, exchanges have been with Germany and Turkey! C.A.M.P. E.M.S.A. – Emergency Medicine in the wild! Learning your first aid, getting your certificate and having a laugh – Duke of Edinburgh style! Look out for EMSA-ICSM and sign up to get involved!
