Chinese Students & Scholars Association (CSSA)
The Imperial College Chinese Students and Scholars Association (CSSA) is a non-profit society which provides services to Chinese students. CSSA is the only student federation registered under the Chinese Embassy’s Student Organization. CSSA proliferates in many other universities, for instance, LSE, UCL, Royal Holloway and City. Imperial College CSSA may proclaim itself as the head of London, since we have the highest number of members and organise the most activities. For instance, we organised trips to Alton Towers and Bicester Village. We also held a drama night, as well as the well-known London Stuffed Dumpling Festival. The sports aspect is also brilliant; each week we book the courts in Wilson House and Ethos for our members to play basketball. In order to supply everybody with entertainment, we also regularly hold different kinds of sporting events such as badminton and football.
If you want to become a member, please look out for us at the Freshers’ Fair. Each registered student receives a membership card which grants them discounts in roughly 50 restaurants in China Town and the rest of London.
