The Christian Medical Fellowship (CMF) is a community for Christian medics at Imperial, although anyone interested is more than welcome to join us. We are affiliated to the national CMF, an organisation comprising Christian doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals.
Regular prayer meetings are an integral part of our calendar, and socials like film nights and picnics in Hyde Park provide medics with an excellent chance to have a dose of healthy fun while building ties that bind. Our mums-and-dads scheme pairs freshers with seniors and seeks to smoothen the transition to university life and provide an avenue for support amidst a challenging course.
We also run events addressing medical ethical issues that concern Christian medics such as euthanasia, abortion and stem cell research. One of our major events is the ever-popular annual CMF national conference, where medics from all over UK come together for a rejuvenating weekend of fellowship.
