About the Choir

Want to sing in the Royal Albert Hall? Imperial College Choir is non-auditioned with over 100 members of all abilities. Everyone is welcome so come and have a go even if you’ve never sung in a choir before. As well as termly concerts in a variety of venues we sing in the College graduation ceremony in the Royal Albert Hall. Our repertoire is varied including traditional works such as Mozart’s Requiem and Handel’s Messiah, as well as Orff’s Carmina Burana and a very successful Centenary Opera Gala. If you prefer smaller works we also run a Chamber Choir that performs in its own concerts and the College Carol Service.

IC Choir is a very social society; members are usually found in the bar after rehearsals as well as going to termly socials, weekends away and the annual Patrons' Dinner. We also go on tour, like the fantastic joint tour to Croatia with the IC Sinfonietta and IC Big Band in 2007.
