Imperial College London’s Summer Ball is the largest student ball in London and this year’s ball will be our biggest, most lavish and exciting yet! Tickets are already on sale for the evening which takes place across our South Kensington Campus and is attended by over 3,000 revellers. Prices for all tickets go up from 16:00 16 May, with non-VIP tickets rising by £5 and VIP tickets rising by £10 for the Entertainments only ticket and by £20 for the Dinner and Entertainments ticket.
With great acts and DJs, a formal dinner, fireworks, a funfair, a casino, marquees, light shows and more; the Summer Ball 2008 is the not-to-miss event of Imperial’s calendar. Tickets for our formal 600 seated dinner always sell out fast, so organise your friends and book yourselves a table!
The Ball takes place across Imperial College London's South Kensington Campus with our Queen's Lawn Marquee acting as the grand venue for the 4 course dinner and drinks. The Queen's Lawn also is the site for our extensive funfair, as well as the ideal place to witness our spectacular fireworks show at night-fall.
This year we will enhance our VIP Experience aimed at Imperial College London alumni and staff. A special VIP lounge and bar offers a more relaxed and decadent venue in which to enjoy the evening. With a free cocktail bar and canapés through out the night; why not treat yourself to a more refined Summer Ball experience!
The Union will once more be the venue for the serious party-goers, with the return of our Beit Quad marquee. The Union will also stay open to serve drinks right through to closing time on Sunday evening, meaning even the hardened revellers will have partied themselves out by the time we close the Summer Ball doors for another year!
Our famous survivors photo is also back again, so don't even think about leaving early. Last year we had a record number in the survivors photo, can you break the record this year?
