Representation

Jason Parmar

Imperial College Union is responsible for the representation of all students at Imperial. This is a wide-ranging responsibility, from individual academic issues to advising College on long-term student experience matters. Topics regularly covered by the ICU representation system include academic studies, welfare, accommodation, finance, personal safety, and more.

Imperial College Union works to ensure that all students have their voices heard through two large networks of elected representatives - the undergraduate and postgraduate representative networks - which extend from each year group in every department at Imperial up to the Deputy President (Education), a student who has taken a sabbatical year out of their studies to work full-time on student issues. The current Deputy President (Education) is Jason Parmar, pictured left.

If you are experiencing any difficulties with your course, or with your wider academic support, you have a number of options for who to contact. To find contact details for your representatives, and for more information on the representation, please use the menu on the left.

This section also offers information and support for student reps, with a range of resources and guides for carrying out your role as effectively as possible.

If you would like any further information, please do not hesitate to contact the President.
