What does the Deputy President (Education & Welfare) do?

University is renowned for being the best time of your life. For most this will be your first taste of freedom and while many of you will thrive, some will find it harder to settle in than others. It's important to realise that you're not alone. There are a number of people to talk to, including your hall wardens, course welfare reps, student union officers, a dedicated Union Student Advisor and many more.

My job is to make sure that during the harder times there is always someone there to help you. I am responsible for the entire Representation Network who listen to your views on issues with your course or welfare provision and represent you to College on your behalf. I also run campaigns throughout the year on issues that affect you as students.

If there's something you're struggling with and don't know where to turn please feel free to contact me or pop into my office in Beit for a chat and a cup of tea!
