Volunteer for the London Olympics

The London 2012 Organising Committee (LOCOG) has approached Imperial with the exclusive opportunity to supply specialist sports volunteers for the 2012 Games in handball, wrestling and boccia. Handball and wrestling will be Olympic sports whilst boccia will be a Paralympic sport.
Imperial will be providing 25 volunteers per sport with an approximate student to staff ratio of 5:1 so would strongly encourage staff and students alike to apply.
This once in a lifetime opportunity offers the chance to be part of a team representing the UK and delivering services for a successful and memorable Games. To find out more including eligibility details visit the CV2012 website and if you decide to go for it, make sure you apply to CV2012@imperial.ac.uk by Tuesday 31 August with a personal statement of 500 words (max) stating why you should be selected as an Imperial representative. A selection day will take place at the College on 13 September.
