As a student there are different types of accomodation available to you. Some of the most popular include:
Student Halls
This is a type of accomodation that is run by the college where mostly first years live, facilities like bathrooms and kitchens can be shared however some en-suite rooms are offered. Rent for this is often paid in termly instalments. Contact the College Accomodation Office for more information.
Intercollegiate Halls
This is where students from any College can live in a halls provided by a private company or organisation such as the University of London. Rents are often charged weekly.
Private Accommodation
This is where students, often in groups, move into a property which is owned by a landlord. Rent is often paid monthly. There are different contracts with regard to this for more info contact the Student Adviser, Nigel Cooke.
