Yoga (Charing Cross)
Yoga is more popular than ever, but the cost of classes in London can make it out of reach to those on a student budget. Based at the Charing Cross campus, the club aims to make yoga accessible to everybody by keeping the cost of classes low and providing all equipment.
The style we use is Vinyasa Flow, a fluid practice of alignment and strength, synchronising movement with breath; a moving meditation that balances mind, body and spirit. The class includes breathing techniques (pranayama), physical postures (asanas) and a deep relaxation. You will strengthen and tone your body, learn how to focus your mind and relax so that you can better deal with all of life's stresses. Come to classes to unblock hidden energy and discover your full potential!
Our teacher, Sima, has been a yoga student since 1994, and has been teaching all over South-West London since 2003. She is energetic and teaches with passion and humour. Practice is her life.
