Snooker
Few venture to the top floor of the Union, but if you do, you’re in for a big surprise: four excellent quality, full-size snooker tables. Our prize possession is the superb ex-tournament table, which is just ten years old. All equipment is provided and it costs nothing to play once you have paid your membership fee of £20 for the whole year!
There are organised tournaments (including the Internal league) plus the renowned Freshers’ tournament. If you are good you might just get into one of the snooker teams that we send to Leicester, and try to be crowned BUCS National Champions! And for the first time, snooker membership gives you the chance to represent Imperial at pool, as we’re sending a team to try and win that as well.
