SIFE Imperial offers the exciting opportunity for students to work closely with corporate organizations to develop and get involved in meaningful projects that make a difference in the community. These projects are focused on increasing knowledge of entrepreneurship, market economics, personal success skills, financial literacy and business ethics. Currently, we have projects targeted at the local community ranging from working with school children to local businesses.
SIFE Imperial has also impacted on communities beyond the borders of the UK, for example, helping students in Tanzania, and now, in China. Every year we present our projects to over 200 judges in a national SIFE competition, competing with 30 other universities. Then the winners go on to a global competition: the SIFE World Cup. In 2010, SIFE Imperial was the runner up in the semi-final round in the SIFE UK National Competition.
We impact not only the beneficiary of our projects, but also our team members. We offer regular training and skills sessions for our members to develop key transferable skills. We believe that everyone has valuable gifts, talents, and strengths, and we encourage you to join yours with ours in a combined effort to devise creative solutions to help those in trying situations.
