ICSC Sailing Club

Imperial College Sailing Club - the best club ever.

We meet every Wednesday afternoon for a casual sail, perfect for beginners, with a social evening to follow. We also meet every Saturday morning for a more competitive training session in which we practice team racing. Imperial college 6 double handed firefly dinghies and has access to lasers and GP14's. Last year the Imperial team competed at BUSA, attended competitions in the London area and at Reading, Cardiff and Oxford Universities.

This is a fantastic club if you want to make new friends from all around London because we sail with the University of London. We are automatically members of B.T. Yacht Club and use their fantastic club house facilities, including their bar (which is run by us on Wednesdays)! We sail at the Welsh Harp Reservoir in Wembley which is a beautiful location surrounded by a nature reserve meaning that it is a fantastic way to escape central London.

So, if you want to learn, improve, compete at universities over the country, take part in lots of boat races (of the sailing and drinking variety), be part of a team, escape central London and make lots of new friends then this is the club for you.
