Sailing
Imperial has 6 flights of firefly dinghys which are ideal for both learning to sail and racing. We sail every Wednesday during term at Welsh Harp Reservoir in Wembley, and there are opportunities to travel to events around the country over weekends. Socials go hand and hand with the Wednesday sailing.
The club has a good relationship with the University of London Sailing Club; we sail, train and socialise alongside them. At Welsh Harp we use a club house owned by University of London for use exclusively by students. The club welcomes sailors of all levels, whether you’ve never sailed in your life and want to give it a go, all the way up to people who want to go straight in and start team racing on the circuit.
