Whether you are Palestinian, interested in learning more about Palestinian culture or you simply sympathise with the plight of the Palestinian people, this is the society for you.
After the atrocities performed by Israel during Operation Cast Lead a group of Imperial students decided enough was enough and that they wanted to do something to help. We are now entering our 3rd year as a society and we are growing from strength to strength. We have held a wide range of events including a talk by the infamous Noam Chomsky, numerous fundraising activities, play readings and dinners. Our most successful venture was our recent tour to Palestine where some members of the society visited An Najah University in Nablus. They spent 2 weeks volunteering, visiting the famous sites and experiencing the rich Palestinian culture firsthand.
This year, with your help, we hope to carry on broadening our activities and educating Imperial College about Palestine.
