Got a passion for the outdoors? Are the bright city lights of London already making you feel a bit queasy? The Outdoor Club is for you!
We are the only club at Imperial that can offer such a broad range of activities: from hill walking, scrambling and climbing to mountain biking and canoeing! Whatever it is about the outdoors that gets you going, we can give you the opportunity to do more of it!
Beginners are welcome and we can’t wait to introduce you to new outdoor sports and activities. We can provide all the equipment you need to do so! Our more experienced members are always on hand to ensure you are safe and to teach you everything you need to know to keep it that way.
We organise trips every other weekend in term time all over the country and climb indoors every Wednesday. During the college vacations we get away on longer tours, recently to places like the Alps and Spain where you can try snow/ice climbing and mountaineering at altitude as well as all our usual activities.
