Imperial College Indian Society is a large, well established multicultural society, always endeavouring to promote and encourage an awareness of the various magnificent aspects of Indian Culture, to both Indians and non-Indians alike.

We have a diverse range of members, from freshers to post-graduates. Our greatest pride is undoubtedly our well known annual charity variety show, East Meets West (EMW): one of the largest productions organised by an ICU society. Previously held at the prestigious Shaftesbury Theatre, London Palladium, Theatre Royal, Her Majesty's Theatre and last year at Indig02. EMW always proves to be an outstanding and successful show, combining music, dance, and more with raising great funds for charity.

Our society places a big emphasis on building a warm and friendly community atmosphere, and we have extended the family-like network across the years. There is something for everyone in Indian Society, from our hugely successful 'Fire & Spice' club nights, regular Bollywood dance classes, competitive cricket matches, to our Indian food nights with new (and sometimes notoriously cheesy!) Hindi films.

There are endless opportunities for all new students to come and participate in, or even help run Indian Society events: please feel welcome to come to our stall at the fresher's fair to find out more, and to come meet our friendly members!
