Hockey (RSM)
RSM Hockey Club is open to anyone who is up for a laugh both on and off the hockey pitch. We have the best matches and social events at Imperial. If you enjoy playing hockey (any level – beginners welcome!) without running laps or doing chin-ups, then we’re the club for you.
Both the men’s and women’s teams play in the University of London League and the Cup. Our mixed team also play friendly matches with local teams on Sunday. We do hockey and drinking training ever week, neither of which are obligatory! Our Men’s 1st team came second in the University of London Cup in 2008. This year we are looking to build a strong team for the following seasons, so if you fancy demolishing other universities and IC Hockey then sign up.
Join the RSM hockey club. We will offer you all the traditions through the RSM events and the almighty Bottle Match which is about 106 years old and we’re currently in a RSM Golden Age. Doesn’t matter which department you are in, if you are looking for good team spirit, drinking (optional), socialising, and tradition we are the club for you
