Hindu Society
Imperial College Hindu Society aims to promote, practice and protect Hinduism. The society has seen unprecedented growth over the last two years and now has a huge member base.
Events are held throughout the year, the largest of which is the annual Diwali Garba – “Ujaali”. Attracting over 400 people, this event is the largest of its kind in London. Other events include spiritual discussion groups, pujas and dinner events. Our events often manage to attract some very famous speakers.
There are also events on a national scale, meeting with the National Hindu Students Forum including the annual sports competition in Nottingham University. “Sewa Week” is a week jam-packed full of events also providing an opportunity to support our two charities. The fundraising events always promise to be entertaining, spontaneous and at times unpredictable!
