The annual RCSU Science Challenge is back, bigger than ever this time!
The time has come for the launch of the 2009 Science Challenge, the Royal College of Science Union’s annual science competition. Founded in 2005, the RCSU Science Challenge is run by volunteers from the Royal College of Science Union, with the generous support from our sponsors. It role is to promote scientific communication and creative thinking amongst young people; the same individuals that will eventually shape the future of our planet over the years to come.
The 2009 Challenge launches on January 22nd. Over £20,000 of prizes are being given away, with a grand prize of £5000 for the overall winner of the competition and a £5000 bursary first prize for study at Imperial in the schools competition.
If you want to enter all you have to do is write an 800 word essay on one of 4 questions. Interested in finding out more? Come along to the launch party with guest speaker Lord Robert Winston (and free cake!). Come along!
Thursday 22nd January, 6pm, Sir Alexander Fleming Building.
