RAG Week Starts 1 March

This year, we've got a whole week of wicked events lined up for you guys, all in support of our four chosen charities: Barnardo's, Keep a Child Alive, The Children's Trust and Broadway Homelessness & Support.
Monday 1st March & Tuesday 2nd March - Bangin' Bake Sales
Cooking Soc is going to provide you with the energy you will need for the days to follow by baking up a storm! Head down to JCR during lunchtime to indulge in various different home-made cookies, brownies, baklava any much more.
Wednesday, 3rd March - London Raid
Our main event of the week is set to be the best raid Imperial has seen in years! Get yourself into a team of 3-5, dust off your fancy dress costumes and shake your buckets in the name of charity! You will be given a list of wacky tasks to complete for points. Tasks range from relatively easy (helping an old lady across the street, pouring and downing a pint in a pub etc.) to hilariously insane (like streaking through the Bank of England naked). Prizes will be given for best costume, most money raised and tasks completed. If this sounds like your cup of tea then tell your friends and meet us in Beit Quad between 12pm and 2pm. Feel free to e-mail back to say if your coming, or just turn up with your team on the day.
Thursday, 4th March - RCSU & UCL RAG BAll
The RCSU and UCL have banded together to bring you this year's RAG Ball at On Anon on Thursday. It's a black tie affair, featuring some of the best bands from UCL, numerous magic acts, a FREE welcome shot, FREE jugs of cocktails and FREE food. The best part is that all of this costs just £10. Friday, 5th March - CGCU Slave Auction
The CGCU will be at the Union on Friday, auctioning off "slaves" in the name of charity. We're not sure who'll be biting the bullet this year, but rumour has it that we'll see some sabbs and sports captains on the auction block. There will also be 10 kegs of beer and Sambucca shots behind the bar for all you thirsty folk.
Saturday, 6th March - Late Night Football Tournament
Saturday sees teams from all over campus compete to be the winners of the RAG Cup 2010. Once again, prizes will be given out for costumes (didn't see that one coming, did you?) and for the winners. To sign up for the football, email us at rag@imperial.ac.uk.
All Week - Queens Tower Tours
All week RAG is giving tours of the Queens Tower on campus (massive building across from the library). It is one of the few occasions during the year that the QT doors are opened, and our team of experienced guides will lead you to the top of the largest building at Imperial - and most beautiful, may I add. It can boast one of the most spectacular views of all of London, and it's a MUST for every Imperialite to have been up at least once.
Also, RAG MAGs will be sold in the Union shop, so make sure to drop by and get a copy. T-shirts will also go on sale soon!
