Heineken BeerWhile alcohol is legal in the UK, it is still a drug and so can also cause you some difficulties if it isn’t used sensibly – as a number of particularly heavy nights in the Union have proved.

Alcohol is an acceptable part of student life, but you should be aware of the amount that you are actually consuming on a weekly basis. Drinking excessively can be expensive, dangerous and addictive.

There is a difference between being ‘merry’ and being totally ‘trollied’. You should make sure you know your limits, otherwise you could be a danger to yourself and others.
