The prestigious Imperial College Charity, the International Education Fund, IEF, is beginning its recruitment for the coming year. The IEF focusses on enhancing education in developing parts of the world by raising funds throughout the year. It is student led under the supervision of Professor Alan Fenwick OBE and Professor Azeem Majeed.
In just two years the the IEF have had two high profile events, one of which was at the House of Lords, and the team have personally delivered educational equipment to blind schools in Kashmir and a Western Saharan refugee camp (situated in Algeria). The former Rector of Imperial College Sir Roy Anderson, Sir Magdi Yacoub, Lord Robert Winston as well as TV traveller Michael Palin have been supported the IEF .
If you are interested in picking up team working skills, fund-raising, travelling and most importantly helping poor children make a difference then you will love being part of the IEF. Not to mention the skills you can add to your CV.
