Your home, our home. The union is the perfect place to head for lunch or a drink after lectures; sprawled out on the grass in the quad during the summer or huddled in the warmth of one of the bars during the winter. We constantly aim to be the best priced bar in the area and the quality of our food compares favourably with outlets on campus and is never beaten on price! Aside from all the administrative work that the Union undertakes on the first floor and basements (see Student Activities) the building also houses all of our bars and catering outlets. With our ground floor dedicated to a range of eateries and bars we aim to cater to a wide range of tastes and preferences for both food and drink.

With a regular calendar that involves quiz nights on Tuesdays, Sports Nights on Wednesday, gig nights on Fridays, our Big Band and Jazz & Rock groups who play occasionally on Thursdays and Saturdays and last but certainly not least bar nights galore! Departmental, sports clubs, faculties, not a month goes by where there isn’t a bar night you’re not invited to…
