Web Design and Software
The web is huge and is getting bigger by the second: more information isproduced digitally than in analogue formats nowadays: as a developer or designer it’s your responsibility to organize and make sense of ever-increasing streams of knowledge and information; to make the computer work for humans and not the other way around.
The society aims at two targets; providing education in the current state-of-the-art technologies, and providing a foundation for any person interested in creating technical gizmos, small or large software programs or developing content for the web.
We want members from any department wishing to cater for inter-departmental cooperation and learning and with e.g. projects aimed at simulation of reality-based systems or developing distributed applications. Lecturers have experience from developing software professionally and we aim to get persons from bleeding-edge industry to come and describe the problems they are solving.
