Rifle and Pistol
The Rifle and Pistol Club is one of the oldest clubs in the Union. Its role is pure and simple – to encourage all types of shooting as a sport or hobby. We cater for all types of shooting disciplines, from target rifle to clay pigeon shooting, and air pistol to gallery rifle.
We shoot all indoor disciplines at a range in central London, go clay pigeon shooting and visit the national shooting centre at Bisley. We enter many competitions in all disciplines, including the BUCS Clay Pigeon Championships and many team and individual competitions. Don’t worry if you have never even held a gun before – we provide all the training required for you to become a competent shot. The social side of the club is also very important; so come along, have a go, and become a true marksman!
