Musical Theatre Tour
Since 1967, we have been invading the sleepy
Devon town of Budleigh Salterton for two weeksat the beginning of August to transform their Public Hall into a theatre and put on a musical. Past shows have included Gilbert and Sullivan Operettas and more recently, ‘Anything Goes’ and ‘Kiss Me, Kate’ by Cole Porter and Bernstein’s ‘West Side Story’. We rehearse throughout the summer term and the beginning of the holidays in London and then travel to Devon where we camp in the local school. Once the first few days of last minute rehearsals and set building are over we spend the days enjoying a holiday in Devon, including our favourite pastime - eating cream teas! In the evening, we do the show and then party until the early hours. You can join us as an actor, a musician, crew or even front-of-house staff. Everyone is welcome.
