Choir in the Royal Albert Hall '11

Royal Albert Hall

ICSM Choir are singing, for the third year in a row, in Imperial's Commemoration Day, alongside IC Choir in the Royal Albert Hall, one of the most spectacular concert venues in London.

On Wednesday 19th October 2011, ICSM Choir will join forces with IC Choir to sing at Commemoration day. This is when everyone who finished their degree before the summer graduates. This year we will be singing Parry's "I Was Glad". We will be looking at the music in the first two rehearsals of term alongside our own repertoire for the end of term concert and weekend away. This is of course optional, but most of the medical school has the day off so is a great opportunity not to miss!

There will be two ceremonies, and you are free to do either or both. The first is at 11.15 and the second at 3.30. There will be a rehearsal in the morning with IC Choir and the orchestra that is accompanying them.

The plan for the day is as:
9.25- meet at the Stage Door at the Royal Albert Hall to collect your passes to get in
9.45 - be on stage and ready to sing! This means you need to get in, drop off your stuff and go find a seat (another reason I need numbers)
10.30 - rehearsal finishes
10.50 - line up ready to go on stage
11.00 - go on stage! Ceremony starts at 11.15
14.30 - those who can only attend the afternoon session meet to obtain a pass at the Stage Door
14.50 - everyone should be ready, with music to go back on stage
15.15 - be on stage!

Email Lydia if you want to perform.
