Model United Nations
Model United Nations (MUN) is a forum for Imperial students to engage in debates on international politics. We run weekly simulations of various UN committees such as the Security Council and the General Assembly, often with emphasis on specific agendas as World Trade, Human Rights and Climate Change.
MUN provides a platform for you to gain new knowledge on world issues and express your opinions. During our weekly simulations, members take on the role of diplomats and employ a variety of communication and critical thinking skills to defend and advance the policies of the country they represent.
In essence however, MUN is a social society, organising frequent recreational events and participating in the wider global MUN community. Come down and say hello at our stall at the Freshers’ Fair to find out more.
