History
The history society meets up approximately once every two weeks.
Our main activity is wine and cheese/movie nights; we enjoy a good bottle of red with our historical flicks. A few of the movies we watched last year were Valkyrie, The Hurt Locker and Schindler's List.
We also do trips to museums and historical sites inside the UK; the Imperial war museum and Windsor Castle are examples of places we have visited and plan to visit again this year. This year, we hope to plan a trip to Berlin in the spring term; the aim of this trip would be to broaden our historical knowledge whilst enjoying the sites of Berlin.
You should join the history society if you are interested in modern history, would be up for trips and enjoy good movies and wine.
