Now is a fascinating time to be involved in politics. Conservatism is a movement defined as those who seek to prevent radical change and keep the choice elements of society. Not just in Britain. With so much reform in the pipeline, Conservatism has never been more relevant in our lifetime. Pay close attention as once we leave our comfortable world of academia, who knows what lies ahead! Shape the world you to want to live in.

If you want to learn and participate in politics the society allows you to do that with talks and debates featuring MPs, MEPs, political commentators and of course yourselves! Despite being a British university, we have an international presence and hence the society is open to all. It is a chance to get a front row seat on the political world and take part in shaping your very own future with a bonus social spin.The Mayoral election in March 2012 is something we will be getting more and more involved in.
