Every week the cinema offers the best of the latest blockbusters at student prices, and for the more hardcore movie goers every term we run the (in)famous Cinema All-Nighter showing 6 films back to back from dusk 'til dawn.
The Union cinema isn't just your average digital projector in a dodgy rental room either. We have a fully fledged new Kinoton projector running on a 33ft wide screen (CinemaScope), making it one of the larger cinema screens in London, supported by a 7 channel Dolby Digital EX Surround sound system.
For those who'd like to try their hand at running a cinema, there are currently vacancies for projectionists, PR and other general helpers so feel free to contact us. With equipment totalling over £40,000 and a capacity of over 200 people the cinema can be a rewarding place to work and relax.
