I'm a fresher of 08 and I'm really happy I managed to get in!

I won't be living in halls, but at home instead. I just wanted to know if this will ruin my chance of making friends.

Not really since you will be spending most of your time at south Kensington anyway and socialize over there

I'm a fresher of 08 too and i'm also living at home, you shouldn't be worried about not making friends because i don't plan on letting it hold me back!

I dont think it would affect ur social life. Even I am living at home so there is no need to worry at all. The events are also there to help u find new friends :)

Cool!! I am living at home at the moment also so I am glad to hear all the words of encouragement that have been posted. What do you all think about the possibility of organising a get- together for people who are living at home?
