I remember Alex McKee mentioned in training that club officers would be able to maintain their own society's webpage - such as adding news, events etc, and more importantly adding things to the 'shop'.
Does anyone know how to do this? I've had a browse around the relevant sections of the site, but to no avail!

Please contact unionwebhelp@imperial.ac.uk and specify which club or society you require editing abilities for and what your college log in is. We will then add the ability to your log in and arrange for you to be trained further in the CMS.

I was also wondering about the possiblity of releasing some kind of an SDK for club web officiers to integrate the CMS into their own websites (otherwise I may have to make a fugly script for pulling the pages off the union website and parsing it back into the club website, something no one wants to happen).

We've got something working on the finance pages.
For the 'narrow' version use
<!--#include virtual="/templates/sub_section.shtml"→
<table width=760 align=center>
Your stuff in the table
</table></body></html>
This provides the banner at the top and sets the overall width of the page; however you don't get the sidebars or bottom directory. See www.union.ic.ac.uk for an example
For a wide version use
<!--#include virtual="/templates/smallheader.html"→
See www.union.ic.ac.uk for an example.
YMMV, no warranty as to fitness for purpose etc etc
I'm sure Alex will make this sort of thing more widely available as we pull all the tething issues out....
Hmmm the wiki markup is having uexpected effects on this text - the final chars of the '<!--#include' statements are dash dash greaterthan
