Ultimate Frisbee
Ultimate Frisbee is a high intensity, non-contact, team game. The aim of the game is to move the frisbee up the field and make a catch in the opposing end zone. Ultimate Frisbee is unique in that – even at the highest level – the sport is completely self-officiated, with a strong emphasis upon fair play and passionate competition. Ultimate is also a mixed sport with both men and women playing on the same team.
The members of the Imperial College Ultimate Frisbee team – The Disc Doctors – are a friendly bunch of enthusiastic players, always willing to pass on their skills. With regular qualification for Student Nationals we are not short of talented players, but we are always on the look out for more!
Ultimate is known for its fantastic social side – training sessions are usually followed by a few drinks and regular social events are held throughout the year. We train both indoors and outdoors in all weathers. It doesn’t matter if you are a beginner or a pro, everyone is welcome!
