The objective of Turkish Society is to bring together everyone from Turkey and Cyprus at Imperial, including students and staff as well as anyone covering a spectrum of fields, with an interest to Turkish culture and language.
The history of Turkey has linked to many community around Western Asia, North Africa and South-eastern Europe; meaning that all nations from different backgrounds find a common interest in Turkish culture. Therefore, the society also aims to organize events which initiate and enrich relation between different cultures. In addition, the events are expected to be in connection with other Turkish societies in order to extend the social network.
Last, but not least, the society is believed to be a great place for academic discussions and full of entertainment.
