Real Ale (RSM)
Formed originally in the 1970s, the Real Ale Society is open to all members of the college. We organise trips to pubs, beer festivals and breweries, in a bid to find the finest cask-conditioned ales and enjoy them in a sociable atmosphere.
We maintain an active role in the bars around the campus, keeping an eye on the quality (and prices!) of real ale. We have strong links with the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) and because of this cheaper CAMRA membership is available to our members! We organise trips to beer festivals, pub walks, bar nights and an annual brewery trip. We have already located many of the best pubs in London, so come and join us for a pint or two.
