UH Battle of the Bands
Calling all bands! On Monday 24th May at 7pm, we're holding a UH Battle of the Bands event at The Tooting Tram & Social. The Tram is a fantastic venue where the Kooks played a year ago.
We're holding the event to raise money for SKIP (Students for Kids International Projects) a registered charity with a branch at St George's who are going to kenya this year to support education/health projects.
We need:
- Bands from Imperial College School of Medicine
- 3 songs - covers or original material of any style
- Bring as many friends as you possibly can!
- The winner will be judged by the bar staff (they're not biased!) and a prize awarded.
Entry will be just £4 to non-performers.
We'll have full equipment set up all you need is instruments and sticks if your a drummer.
You'll be given a bangle to wear with a colour specific to your college so watch out for a bit of friendly banter from the hosts. You'll be competing with bands from St George's to be crowned the best 'Student Band in London', lets beat them...
