Every year on the night before finals results, this year Tuesday 28th June, we continue the old St. Mary's Medical School tradition of putting on an evening of light music in a nice relaxed atmosphere over cheese and wine. It is always very popular and enjoyed by many students (not just final years!) parents and doctors alike.
You will be serenaded with music from many of the most musicial musicians from within the medical school. The first half is generally more classical followed by a second half with modern popular music. In the past we have had everything from Celine Dion right through to jazz classics, the Amateur Transplants to some Rachmaninoff on the piano.
The evening is in the Wilson House Sports Hall. "Wilson House Sports Hall!?" I hear you say. It is completely transformed; round tables seating 10 people cover the room. Lots of mood lighting, decorations and balloons create a chilled ambience. Having it at Wilson House also means we keep costs to a minimum, which is passed on to you; tickets are just £9.50 for students of £16 otherwise.

Included in the ticket price is a very decent amount of cheese, cold hams and other nibbles served on each table at the interval for you to enjoy during the second half. You will also have table wine on each table, with a reasonably priced bar at the back of the room to top you up should the need arise.
Tickets are just £9.50 for students or £16 otherwise and you can buy your ticket now online by visiting here or alternatively, if you do not have an Imperial College login then please fill out
this form (191 KB) and post it to the address on there. There are only a finite number of tickets, and for the last couple of years we have sold out, so book early! Once you've booked, please e-mail medics.music@imperial.ac.uk with who you would like to sit with (tables of 10). Doors open at 7.30pm for a 8pm start.
We look foward to seeing you there! Any questions please e-mail Anju.
