Subs
As most of you know, to be a member of the society you need to pay 'subs', although if you are a new member do come along to a few rehearsals first to try before parting with your cash! These are a complete bargain at just £15 the for year and that covers you for all our ensembles, so it is just £15 if you are only in orchestra and no more if you are in choir, orchestra and jazz band! Being a member also entitles you to use our equipment located at Charing Cross and Wilson House, giving you pianos to practise on and PA systems use for your band rehearsals.
Subs pay for all manner of things, from the hire of music and general day-to-day running costs of all groups to more long term investments in equipment. They have remained at just £15 for many years and will continue at this level for this year also!
