Charity Carol Singing

Carolsinging

Charity Carol Singing, the final MusicSoc event of the term is almost upon us, then we can all have a well-earned break until the New Year.

Whether you can sing, or have never even been in choir before come along to High Street Kensington Tube Station (just by the ticket barriers) on Friday 18th December. If you really can't sing then hold a bucket!

We are raising money for the Friends of Chelsea and Westminster hospital, the charity the trys to make patients experience of hospital more pleasurable, which is especially important over the festive season. The carol singing usually raises about £700 for the day, so very worthwhile coming along to support!

There will be three sessions, as different years have different commitments during the day. The first will be at 11am lead by Jess, then 2pm and 4pm lead by Matt and Jess. Do wander down whenever you can, there will be numerous 'pub breaks' to break up the afternoon and then we will head out for food afterwards, probably before rocking down to the end-of-term bop.

Please wear either 'ones' (chino's, MusicSoc tie, blue shirt) with something medical, for example a stethoscope, or scrubs (plus probably something warm on top!)

If you can't come along for a whole session then come along for a bit - the more the merrier - it's for a good cause and might be enough to get back on Santa's nice list!

Hopefully see lots of you there, if not have a great Christmas and all the best for the new year!
