Mountaineering (Medics)
Imperial Medics’ Mountaineering Club, or IMMC, is dedicated to giving you the chance to get out of London and stretch your legs somewhere with some fresh air, preferably somewhere with a pub not to far away.
As our name suggests, we offer climbing and mountaineering for our members, as well as more relaxing activities like hiking. Most people join the club never having done these activities before, and we welcome complete beginners. If you’d like to have a go, please come along on one of our trips and we hope we can make you as enthusiastic about these sports as we are.
This is a medics club but as with all IC clubs and societies it is open to anyone and we have a good mix of people from many different courses. If you are interested, we will be having a trip to Wales early in the first term so come and see us at Freshers’ Fair or drop us an email.
