Model United Nations

Model United Nations (MUN) is a place for Imperial students to engage in debates on International Affairs and Politics. We hold weekly simulations of the various UN organs such as the Security Council and the General Assembly, as well as discuss current international issues. MUN is an ideal platform for you to express your views on global affairs as well as pick up other invaluable skills such as public speaking and negotiation.

This year, as well as having sessions for newcomers, we are introducing sessions for more experienced delegates to practise their styles of debate. ICMUN regularly sends delegates to various conferences outside Imperial College including those hosted by Cambridge, Oxford and London Universities.

This year, we are also planning a trip to Geneva to visit the various UN and absorb the local culture. MUN is in essence a social society so we also organise other recreational activities like Film Nights, Dinners and Social Outings. Come visit us at our stall and learn more about the exciting world we live in!
