Welcome freshers! Over the years you will come to grow and love Muslim Medics, as we are one of the few societies at Imperial that ensures that all your educational needs are met throughout medical school life.
Our name isn't our criteria; we cater for absolutely everyone and provide extremely valuable tutorials, mock examinations, revision sessions as well as the odd social occasion. You will find by the end of your first week that medicine is actually extremely tough, and you do genuinely have to do a lot of work.
Our aim is to point you in the right direction, and fulfil all your desires, be it gastronomical, educational or indeed spiritual. We provide for the new, with the likes of PotMed and Young Scientists' Symposium, as well as for the old in terms of our annual Alumni Dinner, and we hope to build upon this greatly over the forthcoming year.
Our love and peace is shared with the wider community by providing scientific activities for local schoolchildren, charitable sports events and points for welfare contact. You have made it through a tough year of admissions, and welcome to a few more tough years ahead of you, but at the end of it all you will come out as 'bright and motivational' doctors and we hope to have had a part to play.
