The Islamic Society is one of the largest and most active societies in Imperial with members from all across the globe. Our aim is simple: to present and promote a balanced, comprehensive understanding of Islam to Muslims and non-Muslims.
The society provides varieties of events and services and has its own prayer room for both men and women providing Jum’uah congregation in the campus every Friday. Every term, we organise events not just to fulfil your spiritual needs, but also your physical needs which include educational talks by well-known speakers, sports tournaments, dinners and weekend outings.
We hope that the Islamic Society will provide you with an atmosphere where you feel welcome, where you can learn more about the religion and make a lot of friends. Just remember, we are here to serve you and welcome everyone from all religions. Most importantly, we hope to promote strong brotherhood and true distinct British Muslim identity through community cohesion, understanding and integration.
